Working with the Class of 2026 was nothing short of incredible, and now that the whirlwind has settled, I finally have a moment to share some of my favorite highlights on the blog.

From gorgeous outfits to genuine, laughing moments, this year’s seniors brought so much energy and authenticity to their shoots.

Effortless Style & Genuine Smiles

One of my absolute favorite parts of photographing high school seniors is seeing how their confidence grows throughout the session. Most seniors start out a little nervous in front of the camera (which is totally normal!), but by the end, their true personalities always shine through.

This year was filled with incredible style–from casual, everyday looks that felt effortlessly cool to stunning, dressed-up outfits that made them look ready to take on the world.

Bonus highlight: I even got to shoot a couple of sessions where seniors brought along some personal flair to celebrate their specific high school journeys, which is always a fun treat behind the lens!

Gorgeous Locations & Chasing the Golden Hour

We really lucked out with the weather and locations this season. We spent countless evenings chasing that warm, glowy sun in some of my favorite spots around the area.

From the natural feel of open fields and local parks to the urban charm of downtown, we found the perfect settings to match each senior’s vibe.

Some of my favorite frames from the entire year came from those last 20 minutes before the sun dipped below the horizon, where everyone finally relaxed, laughed, and just enjoyed the moment but also happy and excited to see the final photos.

To all the seniors (and the amazing parents who helped coordinate everything): Thank you. Thank you for trusting me to capture this monumental milestone in your lives.

You are all headed toward such bright futures, and it was an absolute honor to be a small part of your senior year journey. Stay true to who you are, keep working hard, and don’t forget to look back at these memories every once in a while!
